Just so we can *click*

Schools a week away and all my class mates are also a week away from starting their new courses at uni. I've been speaking to them and I was kinda surprised by the answers I got.

First maw8if:
Me: Hi, how r u?
Her: I'm fine, and u? (We talk for a while)
Me: So what did you choose in uni?
Her: I'm doing Islamic Studies.
Me: *absolutely flabbergasted* You, Islamic studies.
Her: Yeah, Isn't that cool.
Me: But you said you wanted to do special education, that's why you studied your butt off and got 98%.
Her: Yeah but then, my friends wouldn't go into it with me, I don't wanna be by myself in uni, so they all wanted to do Islamic studies so I did it with them.
Me: But you said no matter what you would never do any more Islamic studies, remember.
Her: Well what can you do, I changed my mind anyway.

Okaaay.

Second maw8if:
Another classmate calls me.
Her: Hi kyhfeek?
Me: Fine what about u? (talk for a while)
Her: I'm going to kuliyat al-banat.
Me: Oh cool where is that?
Her: It's near hokair land.
Me: Why did u choose that one for? I thought you were going to kuliyat al-tarbiya.
Her: No this one is a new building at its really pretty and nice inside, that's why I chose it.

Okaaay

In the end it turned out that kuliyat al-banat is kuliyat al-tarbiya, just a new building that they made for it, but my classmate didn't know that.

Okay, who chooses a uni based on the way it looks and not the better standard. And who does a course that they absolutely hate because their friends chose that one and they wanted to be with them. I love my friends and all, but everyone has got to know when it's time to part ways. We meet up and keep in contact with each other. But going into just say, art or computing because my friend went into it and I wanna be with her is not just a bit crazy it's absolutely mental not to mention extremely childish. It was the click thing that we had in school, the different shilal have to stick together, even though this is a new stage of life, I mean come on isn't uni about making new friends and meeting new people?
