To all those people.

They are many great people in this world, people that will always be remembered. Most of these individuals have made a difference in this world for better or for worse. History will always remember them they will always be a part of people thoughts. They are also a different set of people, quite, good, caring ones. When they die there loved ones will be the ones to remember them and after generations and generations even they are forgotten. The set of people that I wish to salute are the people that you don't even know. Strangers that come into your life for a short while and disappear and you never meet them again, but they ALWAYS stay locked in your memory, they make you smile when you remember them. What did these strangers do? Something heroic? Something selfless? For some it may be so, but for me the strangers that walked into my life were ordinary people that didn't do anything amazing, but will always be special to me:

The lady when I was praying eid salat and I forgot my mat and was feeling terribly cold and didn't have anywhere to sit, let me come and share her mat with her. After when it was time to leave she gave me her mat to keep and it was a big beautiful mat. Why did she do that? Just so I could remember her. And I will always.

The guy from Cardiff when I was talking to him about my uni prospectus and he was so helpful. Then he asked me how old I was and instead of making me feel bad about my age (which the rest had somehow managed to do) he bowed to me in the sweetest way and said milady.

Or the lady that I talked to before my British council exams, that told me that she loved my hair and that I should always keep it like this because it makes me different she told me that it was my heritage and I should be proud.

I salute you all.

So my new years resolutions are:

I want to do random kindness to people. If I see someone that needs some help that I can give I'm not gonna ignore, I'll try to help in the best way I could. And if I know that something will make someone's day or just bring a smile to their face then I'll try my best to do it. If I don't become famous and am not remembered throughout history. Then I want to remember kindly in the hearts of the many who know me and the few who don't.

I'm also gonna be more on ball with my studies and not leave everything to the last moment as I have done now. When I finish these exams Inshallah on Jan 24th, I'll take a week of then ask my mom to blast me through C3.

I have to stop blogging until after my exams, Allah yhdikum wa bas, you people have got me addicted instead of cell organelles and trigonometry soaking up my brain cells. I'm spending to much time reading taqo's recommendation escapades, moch's b-day party, bella's sexiest people's list and farahs green shoe adventures not to mention ren's ten things that he THINKS we don't know about him.

I also want to put a 7ikmat al- post at the end of every post. So even if what I write is a bunch of incoherent rubbish at least you will leave my blog with some type of fa2da.

So I'm gonna miss my family, don't have to much fun without me, until the 24th…

ace bows dramatically and exits.

7ikmat al-post: The best thing a father can do for his children is love their mother.
